Description Peter Danielson with Robert Half is hiring for an opportunity in the manufacturing industry for a Division Controller role, based in McMinnville, Oregon. This role will entail overseeing all accounting and cost accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Practices. Responsibilities: • Oversee the full cycle of accounting, including month-end close • Manage the preparation and distribution of financial statements • Supervise all accounting and cost accounting functions • Conduct special financial reviews and analysis, identifying and communicating potential problem areas • Assure that proper procedures, policies, and controls are in place for maintaining adequate internal controls • Administer all internal and external reporting, ensuring the implementation of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices • Respond to special financial requests and perform analysis as needed • Prepare and distribute monthly reports, including account analysis and commentary. Requirements • Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in annual budget preparation and management is necessary. • Experience in conducting internal and external audits is required. • Familiarity with the manufacturing industry is essential. • Must have expertise in managing month-end close processes.
