**Job Summary and Qualifications**
We are seeking a Division Director of Ancillary Services for FSEDs for **Methodist Healthcare System** who in cooperation with the Vice President of FSED Operations, the Division Director, FSED Ancillary Services is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling the administrative and operational activities of all FSED facility ancillary departments. Cooperates with Division Leaders and others to provide timely data and information. Manages the FSED Ancillary departments in accordance with the financial and operational philosophies of the Methodist Healthcare System; insures compliance with JCAHO, Medicare/Medicaid, OSHA, ACR and Texas Department of Radiation Control standards along with Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA), and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). Oversees technical and fiscal management of the FSED Ancillary Departments. Assumes responsibility for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of departmental Radiology and Lab equipment in concert with the hospital plans. **What You Will Do In Your Role:**
•Responsible for staffing of the FSED Radiology and Laboratory Departments/Moderately Complex Lab (MCL) Models. Manages personnel to include interviewing, work allocation, orientation and training, staff development, problem resolution, evaluating performance, making recommendations for personnel actions, and motivating employees to achieve peak performance. Is responsible for Ancillary employee’s output and conduct.
•Works collaboratively with staff to maintain current departmental Texas State Licensures as required. Assures that the department meets regulatory requirements defined by JCAHO, Medicare Conditions of Participation, American College of Radiology requirements, OSHA, Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA), and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) in conjunction with Methodist Healthcare System safety policies and rules.
•Works collaboratively with the radiologists and laboratory teams to discuss service quality, coordinate activities and provide appropriate patient care. •Develops departmental operating and capital budgets. Insures that budgeted goals are achieved in accordance with the MHS Financial Performance Plan.
•Appraises Division leadership of innovation in techniques and equipment. Participates in the development of and/or develops long/short range plans regarding equipment and utilization.
**What qualifications you will need:**
Associate’s Degree is required Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Minimum 5 years healthcare management experience required.
**Minimum License and Certificates Required:**
Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required including one of the following:
Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic
Medical Sonographer or
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
