Division HR Director, Orkin Midwest
Overview Field HR Business Partner Opportunity! We are seeking top talent to join the HR team! The Division HR leader serves as a key team member with a focus on managing and executing human resources functions within a specific Orkin Division / Geographic region of the US. You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the overall organizational objectives. Partner with peer division teams and Corporate HR on best practices, process improvement, communication efforts, program, and training rollouts, etc. This role requires a strong understanding of human resources principles, employment laws, recruiting and retention programs and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to create a positive and productive work environment. Location: Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities The successful HR professional will possess the following abilities and will be responsible for: Working knowledge of state, local and Federal labor laws and guidelines Remain abreast of state labor law and regulation changes within the Division area of operation Provide interpretation and guidance on policies and procedure Oversee the recruitment process and increase efforts in the areas of talent sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding of new team members. Lead the Division Recruiter and/or Coordinators to ensure talent acquisition strategies are effective and coach managers on best practices Develop, coordinate and deliver HR Training as needed Facilitate the administration of salaries and wages in accordance with company policy including analysis and development of pay plans, Performance Appraisal Program administration, approval levels, Job Descriptions, and Field Communications Co-lead the leadership talent review/succession planning process for the Division. Monitor and track HR-related programs through reports and performance statistics Direct interface for communication of benefit programs and problem resolution between team members and corporate benefits group administration Facilitate or directly administer HR Due Diligence Audits during the Acquisition process; coordinating between payroll, benefits and pre-employment to insure that acquisition employees are properly onboarded All other duties as assigned by the Division President and VP of Field Human Resources Travel Requirements: Estimated 50%; U.S.-based travel and mostly within the midwest part of the country. Minimum Requirements: At least 10+ years of HR Business Partner or Consulting experience in the areas of change management, workforce planning, coaching/consultation, program/project management, talent acquisition and recruiting, facilitation, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, overall talent management, and communication. High preference in supporting a distributed/decentralized workforce in a multi-state territory. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required; HR Certification is a plus A high level of HR Project Management skills inclusive of the ability to design and oversee multiple, concurrent projects working collaboratively with teams in support of business objectives Experience working with remote staff across all levels of the business from hourly workforce to executives Use all Microsoft Office programs to document processes, prepare and update documents, presentations, and spreadsheets as required Ability to research internal & external best practices for potential use within the organization Ability to analyze HR data and trends leveraging people analytics to share visual messaging Ability to effectively design and deliver communications for leaders at all levels in the organization Are you ready to join the Best in Pests?
