Seeking an experienced Division Manager to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL, reporting directly to the COO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field operations, with a focus on HVAC and refrigeration. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple managers and a team of technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of our business across several locations.
With decades of experience in the supermarket refrigeration industry, our company offers reliable sales, maintenance, and installation services. Our team of over 100 professionals is dedicated to serving top supermarket chains throughout the Southeast U.S. We prioritize delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction, which allows our clients to thrive in a competitive market.
This role is Onsite to West Palm Beach, Florida
Required Skills & Experience Strong field experience in HVAC and refrigeration Proven management experience similar to role Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage both managers and technicians EPA Certified, Universal License and OSHA certification (or willing to obtain these certifications Truly understand in-depth details of each store's analytical and functional data What You Will Be Doing
Breakdown Lead and manage a team of 2 managers and 20 technicians, with a fully staffed team expected to grow to 30-35 techs and overseeing 3-4 managers. Provide guidance and support to managers and technicians, ensuring high performance and professional growth. Act as the primary point of contact between the division and C-level executives, ensuring clear communication and alignment with company objectives. Initially spend 60-70% of your time in the field, transitioning to 70-80% in the office as the division stabilizes. Manage multiple store locations, ensuring operational efficiency and consistency across all sites. Be prepared to handle emergency calls and situations, demonstrating the ability to work effectively under pressure. Write and manage communications, ensuring clear and professional correspondence both internally and externally. Maintain regular communication with C-level executives, providing updates on division performance, challenges, and opportunities. Leverage your field experience in HVAC/refrigeration to support and guide technicians and managers.
