Responsibilities The Clinical Services of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) at 200 East River Rd. is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for an exciting leadership role offering exceptional healthcare services in a fast-paced outpatient program providing care to children with neurological, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. This position involves staff supervision and clinic flow optimization as well as telephone triage, patient care management, phone-based patient education, and family support for those receiving care through DBP. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic team with a mission to provide comprehensive healthcare for a variety of diverse pediatric patients and their families. This role will function collaboratively with members of a multidisciplinary leadership team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and holistic patient-centered care. The ANM provides direct support to the Nurse Manager and Assistant Director of Ambulatory Pediatrics and is accountable for daily operations, including managing human resources, coaching, mentoring, and monitoring patient outcomes. The ANM, in collaboration with the DBP Clinical Director, Division Chief, and Nurse Manager of Pediatric Specialties, is accountable for supporting standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Strong communication skills are required; Must be able to navigate discussions cross-culturally with staff, children, and families. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated clinical expertise. BSN required. Pediatric and/or acute care experience preferred. **Qualifications** Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience.
