We strive to hire people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes our company stronger\. ## **Job Summary** This intermediate level position reviews and processes land documents in order to handle owner inquires and discrepancies as well as transfers of interest between third parties based on title documents\. ## **Job Duties & Responsibilities** + Review and analyze agreements, assignments, pooling orders, farmouts, AMI’s, survey plats, payments, leases, contracts, ownership reports and various title documents + Respond to owner inquiries \(email, written, phone\); research and resolution of ownership issues and interest discrepancies + Maintain log of ownership transfers + Assist in preparation of Division Orders and burden spreadsheets \(includes analysis of agreements, poolings, AMI’s, etc\.\) + Perform calculations of owner interest, leasehold and unit interests, and review title curative + Prepare burden spreadsheets, analyze title requirements, resolve decimal discrepancies, and cure title defects + Interface with owners, partners, attorneys, Revenue & JIB Accounting, Owner Relations group, and purchasers in obtaining or providing data and/or explanations + Perform other duties as assigned ## **Job Specific Skills** + Intermediate knowledge of oil and gas terminology + Ability to read and understand standard and routine legal descriptions for a tract of land and interpret land title information + Intermediate knowledge of oil and gas leases, deeds, and title curative documents + Intermediate knowledge of lease provisions and their implications to lease records + Intermediate knowledge of the different types of special obligations and payments + Math skills and ability to perform division order calculations ## **Education** Minimum: High school diploma or GED Preferred:Bachelor’s degree \- from accredited university ## **Experience** Minimum: 2 \- 5 years related work experience Expand Energy takes necessary action to ensure that all applicants are treated without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, pregnancy, military or veteran status or any other protected characteristic as established by law\.
