Caterpillar has an exciting opportunity as the Divisional Communications Manager for our Cary NC location. This role involves ensuring that all messaging aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and maintains a consistent brand voice across different platforms. The individual is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in all communications. Additionally, the role requires staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to effectively guide the creation of innovative and engaging content. What you will do:

Collaborate with the Senior Vice President (SVP) to craft messages and materials that effectively communicate strategic objectives and messages to both internal and external stakeholders.Possess a thorough understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; demonstrate the ability to communicate, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs.Clearly articulate and disseminate leadership messages to enhance employee engagement and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.Propose and implement change management initiatives through comprehensive communication strategies.Review and approve communications, ensuring they are processed through the appropriate approval channels and stakeholders for compliance, alignment, and collaboration.Review and approve communications, ensuring compliance with stakeholder requirements.Provide coaching and support for leadership during communication events and presentations.Offer counsel on communication formats to ensure clarity, accuracy, and aligned messaging throughout the division.Benchmark against industry best practices and apply insights to promote a positive culture and engagement through various media channels.

Summary Pay Range:

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
