ResponsibilitiesServes as the Senior Operations leader of Brookdale at Home, Home Care agencies for an assigned division. Provides Private Duty Home Care expertise and support to Vice Presidents of Operations, District Leaders, Executive Directors, and BAH Managers. This includes all homecare business operations, sales and marketing, and regulatory compliance and licensing. Provides direct supervision and training of Regional Clinical Operation Directors for BAH; BAH Operations Specialists, BAH Area Managers and BAH Area Administrators.
Assists in all aspects the development and implementation of new and current Brookdale At Home (BAH) agencies. Participates in hiring, training, and mentoring PL and BAH administrators, managers and supervisors. Provides direct supervision, coaching and motivation to BAH Area Managers and Administrators.Responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures. Partners to develop long-range objectives and strategies for each agency within assigned area. Collaborates with leaders across the Brookdale continuum to assure clients have access to all appropriate services.Assists in the financial oversight of BAH agencies, specifically dedicated to revenue generation and expense control to assist the agencies in reaching all of their annual financial commitments.Develops annual operating budgets for assigned agencies. Aggressively anticipates and minimizes negative budget variances and deficits. Meets and exceeds budgeted revenue goals for assigned agencies. Continually explores means of revenue enhancement and expense reduction.Participates in interviewing of all Agency’s BAH Manager positions and partners with Community Executive Director on final selection of BAH Leadership roles; Serves as the Direct Supervisor for all BAH Leaders in the states of both Colorado and California; Responsible for training all newly hired BAH Agency Leaders and participates/partners with Community Executive Directors with promotions, disciplinary actions and terminations of BAH Agency LeadersReports on trends and activities within business and clinical operations, using defined reporting processes. Assists with process improvement plans to ensure compliance with Brookdale standards and state regulations.Assists in the initial survey application process with the legal team and the community teams along with the VP of Brookdale at Home and coordinates regional and local training/education activities as needed for this process.Participates in new agency development, mentoring programs and other initiatives as needed.Assists the Divisional and legal teams in monitoring and updating any required changes to the Policy and Procedure manual for BAH.Completes routine site visits and communicates findings to community and divisional teams, including the VP of BAH.Maintains high degree of client satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high quality services at agencies within assigned area. Provides leadership for staff and clients to include pro-actively solving problems and resolving issues.Upholds a high standard of Brookdale culture and positive leadership at all times.Conducts or assists with special projects or duties as requested by the Home Office, Vice President of BAH, and/or Senior Vice President of Clinical as indicated.

QualificationsEducation and Experience
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of management or supervisory experience in a health related setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business travel.

Salary Range Information $110,710.00 - $141,031.32 / year
