Position Summary: The Divisional Vice President is primarily responsible for the operational and clinical success of the regions and clinics under their leadership. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for EmpowerMe, developing actionable strategies for excellence, building and maintaining relationships with high-level operators, mentoring existing and emerging leaders, and directly overseeing designated Regional Vice Presidents. The Divisional Vice President is accountable for the execution of company-wide policies, clinical program implementation, process improvement initiatives and quality initiatives to optimize each patient’s functional well-being and satisfaction, all in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Accountability Oversee the financial performance of the division, ensuring achievement of goals and targets by monitoring daily accountability for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Provide strategic guidance to achieve clinical budget goals. Monitor dashboards in DOMO and conduct month-end financial reviews to review the region’s overall performance. Effectively manage and engage in necessary conversations when expectations fall short. Identify and coordinate strategic planning, process improvement, and implementation of organizational practices within the division. Leadership Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the operations team, fostering collaboration and driving results. Collaborate with the COO, other DVPs, and all departments (Clinical, Finance, Human Resources, Revenue Cycle, IT, etc.) to establish and standardize a high-level vision and strategy for execution across the entire EmpowerMe portfolio. Direct and oversee Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) to achieve operational and clinical excellence across all business lines, including clinical record review, patient satisfaction, and rehabilitation agency survey readiness. Hold RVPs accountable for the timely execution of clinical quality practices, procedures, and priorities. Create and execute a process with the sales team to target and accept the right contracts and set appropriate implementation timelines. Collaborate with the clinical team and other departments to provide leadership for division-wide policy development/improvement, evidence-based practices, and clinical programs that meet patient needs, focusing on residents in senior living communities. Compliance Demonstrate competence in regulatory compliance, ensuring the region maintains the highest level of compliance with all regulatory agencies. Ensure that company standards and policies are well-maintained. Comply with HIPAA and PHI guidelines, always protecting confidentiality. Align with the company vision for service quality and value creation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education and/or Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in rehabilitation within senior care communities, demonstrating proven leadership and organizational skills. Successful candidate will be present in West Coast market 50% of the time. Required state licensure(s) must be in good standing. Proficiency in EMR systems (NetHealth preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with older adults to provide the best possible care. Proven experience in staffing, leading, developing, and retaining strong organizational teams. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, demonstrate flexibility, manage interruptions effectively, and excel in multi-tasking. Respect for patient rights and confidentiality, with thorough knowledge of HIPAA and PHI guidelines. Solid understanding of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy for seniors, along with strong knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care. Demonstrate and uphold a high standard of professionalism in all interactions with clients, employees, residents, and visitors throughout the organization. Work Environment & Physical Demands: The physical demands outlined here represent those necessary for an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this role. During the execution of duties, the employee is regularly required to engage in verbal communication and auditory perception. Additionally, the employee frequently performs tasks while seated at a desk and working on a computer. The ability to lift 20 pounds at a time is required. Specific vision abilities essential for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
