The DIY Sales Development Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategies, and enhancing customer experience within the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) category. This role involves leading teams, analyzing market trends, and implementing initiatives to optimize sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy Development
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the DIY category.Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.2. Team Leadership
Mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and group targets.Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's product knowledge and sales skills.3. Customer Experience
Enhance the customer shopping experience through innovative merchandising and sales techniques.4. Market Analysis
Conduct regular reviews of sales performance and market trends.5. Collaboration and Communication
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and support sales initiatives.6. Operational Excellence
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the retail or DIY sector.Strong understanding of the DIY market and customer base.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
