What we do:
The Driver License section provides Colorado credentials to the residents throughout the state which include driver licenses, instruction permits, commercial driver licenses, and identification cards.
DMV Greeter Role:
This position will work at the front reception desk, greeting customers as they enter the building and directing them to the appropriate services based on their needs. The purpose of this position is to streamline office services, address customer concerns, and reduce transaction and wait times for customer-facing offices.
This position's main duties revolve around welcoming customers to a DMV office. This position is the first point of contact with DMV customers establishing the beginning of the customer experience for that office.
To support this function this position:
+ Acts as the gatekeeper for the office to ensure the smooth workflow for the employees and customers
+ Establishes and maintains constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships with DMV employees and customers.
+ Assists customers with use of the appointment kiosk, website, online portal or other DMV convenience service offerings.
+ Checks customers in for appointments and any other DMV interactions at the office
+ Works with walk in customers to assist and provide the best customer experience possible
+ Organizes the customer workflow for the office
+ Conducts vision testing as needed
The Greeter will also provide administrative support to functioning of an office including:
+ Contacting customers as needed
+ Reviewing source documents and other information to ensure the customer is ready to meet with the appropriate technician
+ Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Assisting with other office support including stocking and cleaning the greeter/advisor station.

Experience Only: One (1) year of Customer Service or Receptionist experience or other relevant work experience.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Conditions of Employment with the CDOR :
Employees are in a position of public trust in the performance of their job duties and must operate in a manner that maintains the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and public confidence.
As a condition of employment with the CDOR , all personnel must file all necessary Colorado Individual Income Tax (CIIT) returns and pay tax obligations, therefore all employees must undergo a pre-employment evaluation of their tax records/accounts to ensure compliance with this policy. Final candidates must also complete a successful background investigation and reference check prior to appointment. Certain positions based on duties may require scheduled background investigations.
