This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparing, and shipping all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions.

What You Will Do:
Address departmental paperwork and conduct physical searches/research of missing productsAssist in researching discrepancies on cycle countsAssist shipping departments with problem pick ticketsTrack departmental data and generate applicable reports as neededPlans/manages dock flow to safely and effectively meet outbound shipment and inbound receiving schedules Trains, develops, and monitors logistics associates in required dutiesPerforms safety, procedural,l and housekeeping audits of the logistics areas Identifies safety hazards and implements changes necessary to mitigate hazards Proactively communicates with customer service, management, production, and maintenance department personnel to meet departmental and plant objectives Accurately processes necessary transactions related to labor reporting and record keeping Performs daily administrative tasks involved with maintaining inventory accuracy in SAP and additional systemsBack-up forklift operator for shipping and receiving operations as labor crewing and demand dictates (this is a “working” coordinator position) Examine all packaging and contents of items for qualityIdentify items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicate with Supervisor and/or Lead Updates and maintains inventory control databasesEnsures the freight sorting area is organized and follows the established sorting and stocking guidelinesMaintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pulls completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for packers Follow all safety procedures and policiesPosition Details:

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED1 year of previous plant or warehouse experience1 year practicing the 5S’s3 years of previous Raymond stand-up forklift operating experience3 years in a leadership role3 years of auditing experience3 years of knowledge using SAP and WMSNo immigration sponsorship offered for this role
