Your job will include:
Perform standard administrative duties (e.g., answering phones, scheduling meetings, etc.) and ensure that the office runs in a smooth and efficient manner.Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner.Organize and maintain files and order office supplies.Create and edit required documents, presentations, files, spreadsheets, databases and financial reports.Research and implement company-sponsored activities.Support receptionists and other administrative staff as needed.Recommend operational improvements to managers.Lead Dockhands and Forklift Operators in a Professional MannerOperate Machinery as neededMaintain Service Logs for Equipment and facilitiesCoordinate arriving and departing vessels both clerically and operationallyExperience & skills you’ll need:
High school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.1+ year of office experience.Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, as well as the ability to perform word processing and data entry.Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule as required.In return for your excellent skills and abilities, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, and vision plans, a generous 401(k) employer match, and paid vacations, holidays, and sick time.
