Statement of Job
Major Duties
Maintains and operates skidsteer to remove debris from dock, silt beds, and ramps. Performs ongoing daily sanitation in dock area. Empties FM and potato gray barrels and totes when full from trim room. Monitors dock area for line disruptions.Promote and adhere to company safety regulations.Maintains forklift and completes forklift operator daily checklist.Understands the concepts and participates in the techniques of the quality process.Promotes job safety.Keeps work area neat, clean, and orderly.Participates in factory clean-ups.Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
Special Requirements
Requires certification of Dock Operator to be certified. Requires moderate mental and manual skill.Requires some initiative and independence.Requires reasonable care to avoid minor damage to equipment and considerable care to avoid major injury of self and others.Requires forklift and skidsteer certification.Scope of AuthorityAll employees have the right to question or refuse a work related directive that is unsafe.All employees are expected to take appropriate measures regarding employee, product or equipment safety.
