This strategic initiative aims to leverage existing DOCSIS infrastructure within a 5G network strategy, requiring expertise to design the necessary infrastructure and standards. Role Focus: Each Network Architect will specialize in either DOCSIS PHY or DOCSIS MAC, both critical for enabling reliable data transmission over cable networks. Responsibilities: DOCSIS PHY Layer Architect: * Manage signal levels and performance to ensure signal stability * Oversee budget management related to signal performance * Address signal attenuation throughout the cable network DOCSIS MAC Layer Architect: * Oversee medium access control and manage bandwidth allocation * Implement Quality of Service (QoS) management to ensure optimal network performance * Ensure network security and handle multicast traffic
