Document Control

 

Principle Duties:

Manage, transmit & receive, and distribute/notify personnel regarding engineering and quality control documents within SharePoint (document management system). Utilizing online and MS Office processes follow all electronic customer replies / commented documents ensuring they are uploaded, properly notified, and tracked from inception to completion. Provide process support to document management system users on software tools and procedure requirements. Follow Ohmstede document management procedures as established by the VP of Engineering. Utilize the Engineering Schedule & Jobs databases and Document Transmittals to establish reports for job documents schedules & status.   Assist all levels/members of the Engineering & Quality Control departments in document management tasks and enforce established Ohmstede procedures.

 Qualifications requirements:

 Knowledge:  High school diploma w/experience or Associate/ Bachelors degree in business.

 Strong MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written)

 

Working Conditions:  Normal office environment; limited time in a shop and fabrication environment.
