Document Control Associate
Job Title: Document Control SpecialistPays $24-26/hour3 month contract

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist I to maintain the document change control process through the engineering change control system. The role involves checking revised documents and completed change orders for accuracy, reviewing and releasing documents using various software packages, and maintaining electronic files of master active or archived documents. Additionally, you will assist with data entry for training sets and employee training records, and support the maintenance of Direct Labor Competency Assessment Records as needed.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain document change control process via engineering change control system (log, track, and process DCOs, maintain material and BOM data).Check revised documents and completed change orders to assure the highest level of accuracy and conformance with approved format and standards.Review, process, and release documents using a variety of software packages.Maintain electronic files of master active or archived documents (native source application files as well as .pdf viewable files).Assist in the data entry setup of training sets for new hires, including technical and Quality Management System procedures when needed.Assist in the data entry of employee training records when needed.Support the maintenance of Direct Labor Competency Assessment Records when needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsDocument controlMS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel)Data entryBill of materialChange orderAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or a high school diploma and 2+ years of experience in document control in a manufacturing environment.Experience working in the medical device industry is preferred.Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and other database systems. Knowledge of SolidWorks or other drawing programs preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.Ability to operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.Employee may be required to lift objects up to 25lbs.Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves using various technologies and software packages to maintain document control. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as the work environment requires managing multiple priorities and working both independently and as part of a team. The employee may need to lift objects up to 25lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.59 - $26.00
