Job Title: Document Control Clerk
Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Control Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams to understand the root causes of deductions and provide effective resolutions. This role involves gathering, reviewing, and maintaining accurate documentation to facilitate resolution and validation of deductions. Additionally, you will review customer contracts, maintain records, and serve as a key point of contact for deduction-related inquiries.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal teams (e.g., CSR, AR, Logistics) to understand the root causes of deductions and provide effective resolutions.Gather and review necessary documentation such as Proof of Delivery (POD), Bills of Lading, invoices, and historical communications.Review customer contracts to understand their requirements and highlight them to team members.Maintain accurate records of deductions, resolutions, and adjustments to support efficient reporting and analysis.Serve as a key point of contact for deduction-related inquiries and communicate the status and outcomes of cases to stakeholders for assigned customer list.Contribute to the development of deduction management best practices, including automation opportunities and enhanced documentation protocols.Support initiatives to reduce future deduction occurrences, minimize financial impact, and improve efficiency across the deductions process.Essential SkillsDocument controlData entryStrong attention to detailProficiency in Excel and OutlookExperience with inventory control, Microsoft Office, filing, administrative support, clerical tasks, bills of lading, and invoice reconciliationOrganization skillsExperience with scanning, audits, and production administrationAdditional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of experience in a similar roleExperience in CPG (consumer packaged goods) industryWork Environment

This role requires you to be onsite daily, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. If a longer lunch break is needed, the workday will extend until 5:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
