Document Control Specialist The Document Control Specialist is part of the Documentation Services operations team under the Loan Closing and Documentation Services Tower in LTS. This role is responsible for performing the analysis of standard incoming loan documentation requests for multiple lines of business across all bank markets. This position is the liaison and single point of contact for Loan Closing, multiple lines of business and/or Corporate Legal. Responsibilities include analysis, instructions to the Document Preparers and Quality Reviewers to coordinate the preparation of loan documents, utilizing expertise to ensure accurate and complete loan documentation packages are completed. These Loan requests contain varying levels of complexity and various supporting collateral including real estate, all assets, vehicles, and marketable securities. Additionally, this role will assist in clearing documentation exceptions post-closing. Position Responsibilities: * Handling of detailed review and analysis of incoming loan documentation requests for multiple lines of business across the Bank (e.g. approval requirements, entity documentation, title commitments etc.). * Understands and maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory guidelines, written credit and lending policies, applicable federal regulations, and state laws to assess risk and documentation requirements relative to commercial loan documentation requests. * Provide direction to the Document Preparers and Quality Reviewers to ensure the appropriate documents are prepared in accordance with the loan approval and/or instructions from Corporate Legal. * Perform Document Preparer, Quality Reviewer role and/or due diligence activities based on business needs. * Partner and effectively communicate with department colleagues, Loan Closing, Corporate Legal and third parties, including identification and resolution of potential roadblocks. * Reviews documentation exceptions issued post-closing; effectively collaborates with appropriate parties for resolution. * Other duties as assigned.
