Document Control Specialist
Job Title: Document Control SpecialistJob Description The QA Document Control Associate performs the day-to-day document requests and assists the QA Document Control Specialist and other individuals within the Quality Department with projects requiring large document lists. The day-to-day requests include but are not limited to: supplier audit questionnaires for new/continuing customers, document requests for Sales and Customer Service representatives, including written statements and information to be requested from suppliers, and Certificate of Free Sale and Health Certificate applications. Responsibilities + Handle supplier audit questionnaires for new and continuing customers. + Manage document requests for Sales and Customer Service representatives, including written statements and information to be requested from suppliers. + Process Certificate of Free Sale and Health Certificate applications. + Create, develop, and manage Certificates of Analysis (C of A's). + Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Assist the QA Director with all audits. + Participate in all Quality Department functions. + Consistently communicate with Sales and Customer Service teams. Essential Skills + Experience of 3 or more years in the Nutraceutical Industry. + Proficiency with GMP Guidelines and Documentation. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Direct experience with Fish Oils is nice to have as these are their top product. Work Environment The work hours are from 8am to 4:30pm. The Quality Department consists of around 20 individuals. The role reports to the QA Manager and collaborates with multiple other departments, including Sales and Customer Service.
