Document Control Specialist
Fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company within the dietary supplement industry! Description: The QA Document Control Associate performs the day-to-day document requests and assists the QA Document Control Specialist and other individuals within the Quality Department with projects requiring large document lists. The day-to-day requests include but are not limited to: • Supplier audit questionnaires for new/continuing customers. • Document requests for Sales and Customer Service representatives, including written statements and information to be requested from suppliers. • Certificate of Free Sale and Health Certificate applications. Other responsibilities include: • Working with the QA Document Control Specialist to maintain the document library. • Updating other Quality employees when changes have been requested and/or made to documents. • Creating and maintaining templates for statements and letters. • Maintaining records of employee training. • Logging updates made to standard operating procedures. • Being aware of record retention timelines and upholding them, alerting superiors within the Department of upcoming document cleanups. • Maintaining supplier contact lists for reference when needing to request information on products. • Contacting suppliers for product information that we are not in possession of. Skills: • Basic knowledge of general GMP guidelines and specific GMP documentation guidelines. • High level of organization. • Proficiency in writing and reading comprehension. • Moderate-to-high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word and Excel). • Familiarity with Google Drive. • Ability to read and create flowcharts. Work Environment + The work hours are from 8am to 4:30pm.
