Document Control Specialist
**This Opportunity** WSP is currently initiating a search for **Document Control Specialist** on our City of Baltimore DOT contract in the **Baltimore, MD** metro area. Be involved in projects with our **PMCM Team** and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. **Your Impact** The Document Control Specialist’ s duties include but are not limited to: + Work closely with project engineers and inspectors on daily tasks + Uses MCMS and eMCMS program to input Inspector Daily Reports and process monthly progress estimates + Implementation of the filing system for and maintenance of the Project Records, such as submittals, RFI's, drawings, correspondence, etc.; + Assists with pay quantities, preparation and verification of the contractor's monthly payments, and compile data as directed; + Attends meetings as directed by the project engineer, creates agenda and prepares meeting minutes; + Types and edits correspondence, memoranda, reports and other documents; + Reviews outgoing correspondence for procedural and grammatical accuracy, as well as conformance to general policy and factual correctness; **Who You Are** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS + High School Diploma or equivalent + Superb communicating skills + Strong computer and analytical skills + 3 years’ experience in construction related field, 2 of which was performing project support duties as listed above + Knowledge of change orders, RFIs, submittals, source of supply, etc. preferred + Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures + Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies + Good computer skills, including functional familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
