Document Control Specialist
Job Title: Document Control CoordinatorJob Description The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating documents and records, including issuing document numbers, part numbers, archival, and retrieval. This role involves maintaining files and databases of all controlled and other quality-relevant documents within the company. The coordinator will oversee the archival process and serve as a liaison to our off-site records management vendor. Responsibilities + Issue document and part number requests using a Salesforce case management queue. + Process small-scope change order requests, including preparation, formatting, distribution, routing, maintenance, and release to authorized users. + Incorporate approved changes per change orders. + Process and maintain the manual/electronic routing, tracking, distribution, and retrieval of documents. + Maintain the document filing system and electronic databases. + Retrieve stored information upon request. + Independently understand, follow, and implement document control procedures. + Perform other document control related activities as required. Essential Skills + Document control + Inventory control + Data entry + Records management + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and the full Microsoft Office Suite + Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment + 1+ years of experience with PC-based software such as Excel, MS Word, PDF, and Adobe Acrobat Writer/Distiller + 1+ years of experience using Salesforce in a case management queue + 1+ years of experience in a Document Control or Administrative position + Proficiency in electronic document management systems and MRP/ERP systems Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience as an Agile power user + Experience with Agile PLM + Experience in the medical device or laboratory space is strongly preferred + Familiarity with Mastercontrol software and Electronic Data Management Systems Work Environment This is a hybrid role, with the specific schedule to be determined post-training. The work environment may include both office and remote work settings. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
