Your Role
We are looking for a numerate and experienced Document Controller to join our fantastic team and be responsible for the quality and organisation of incoming and outgoing project-related information and contractual documents for multiple projects based in the UK, Europe and Middle East. A thorough understanding of mainstream EDM systems is essential and exposure to large scale construction projects is preferred.
Please note, this role is not remote. We look forward to working with our new Document Controller in our incredible London office.
What You Will Do
Have understanding of various stages of construction projects from Concept Design to ConstructionDeveloping document control programs with internal and external teams to implement efficient delivery of information packages from Concept to ConstructionBeing the point of contact for clients, consultants and internal management for project information auditing and sourcingImplementing thorough QA/QC procedure on all information being transmitted to the client and liaising with internal and external teams to follow up on client responsesQA/QC all incoming information and ensure all information complies with project protocol and standardsDownload of all formal and informal issues and distributing these internally to the teams and consultantsSetting up new project standards and developing ‘how to’ guides for new projectsWorking with client team to understand their protocols and requirements and being their point of contact for all information exchange queriesTraining internal and external project team members on project specific EDM system and protocolsCreating sheet files, stamps and carry out basic corrections in AutoCadPrepare and maintain project record filesArrange printing as required by projectCompleting the final process of reviewing drawings and attaching the relevant comments and submitting them back onto the project systemsManage and maintain other essential project forms such as RFIs, Correspondences, Site SubmittalsHard copy filingYour Qualifications
5+ years' industry experience in Document Control or Information ManagementProven knowledge of using and configuring EDM Systems such as Asite, Aconex, Viewpoint FP, Autodesk BIM 360 DocsExperience with ISO 9001 standards essential, BIM Level-2 information management experience an advantageKnowledge of AutoCad advantageous, Revit a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelStrong leadership, organisational, communication and relationship management skillsKnowledge and experience in all phases of projects in the UK, Europe and abroadProven ability to provide excellent client service, prioritise and work well under pressureSelf-motivated, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervisionPlease apply for this Document Controller role and submit your CV for review.
