The SLB-Capturi US team is seeking a highly qualified Document Controller. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting the project management team by managing and controlling projects documentation of the company, all customers & vendors associated with of proposal, projects and product related issued drawings / documents in a timely and efficient manner.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Manage the project documentation as per the project specifications, applicable standards and procedures.
+ Develop and issue the project specific document control procedures based on the project specifications and applicable procedures.
+ Create and own the Master Document List (MDL) as per the procedures and the project requirements.
+ Examine project documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
+ Maintain a filing system in CS10 and manage the flow correspondence through proper transmittals.
+ Establish communication protocols and a filing system in EDMS and manage the correspondence through proper transmittals.
+ Work with the project team in preparation and finalization of Project Final Documentation or Dossiers and compile hardcopies of data books as per specifications.
+ Monitor the status of project documentation according to schedule and follow up with client/vendors/internal teams for timely delivery.
+ Prepares project status reports and memorandums.
+ Attend the project progress review meetings.
+ Train /support the project participants on document control tools.
+ Train / mentor new recruits/junior staff in document control and conduct periodic training sessions to the project participants on document control tools and requirements.
+ Audit the project documentation performance periodically.
**Qualifications and Experience**
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Document Controller in EPC/EPCM capital projects environment, preferably in projects related to chemical process plants / gas plants.
+ Previous experience and deep understanding of EPC/EPCM Project Document control procedures & filing system implementation.
+ Previous experience and proficiency with EDMS/ CS10.
+ Previous experience and proficiency with Adobe acrobat Pro.
+ Highly organized and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
+ Meticulous attention to details.
+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
+ A self-starter that demonstrates a positive outlook and contributes to working in multicultural and multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
+ Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
