Description
Our client is in need of a Document Controller to join the team. The selected individual will play a vital role in managing our electronic health records (EHR) and ensuring their confidentiality and integrity. This role lies within the healthcare industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the setup of new patient information in the EHR software and associated applications.
• Guarantee the confidentiality of patient information and operations to maintain patient confidence.
• Proactively monitor EHR charts, applications, and services using various tools to uphold data integrity.
• Provide support to staff members facing EHR chart maintenance issues.
• Serve as a point of contact for staff and patients regarding questions about medical records.
• Foster excellent internal and external customer service, establishing good interdepartmental relationships and partnerships.
• Participate in periodic audits and reviews of medical charts.
• Carry out any other related duties as assigned.
• Release protected health information while complying with policies, procedures, and relevant state and federal regulations.
• Utilize various software such as Accounting Software Systems, Adobe Acrobat, ADP - Financial Services, Bluebeam Revu, Dcs, About Time, and others for administrative and accounting functions.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Expertise in Adobe Acrobat is essential.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Dcs is necessary.
• Proficiency in About Time software is expected.
• Skills in Accounting Functions are required.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.
• Knowledge in Auditing processes is a must.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is beneficial.
• A strong understanding of Health regulations is vital.
