Responsibilities

Working under local guidance from the Program Manager and Project Managers, perform the following tasks:

Maintain Project Controls SoftwareLog and organize project transactions such as, addenda, submittals, change proposals, supplemental instructions, etc.Prepare and distribute, based on Project Manager input, site observation reportsPrepare and maintain Project Management Plan, including description of the means for handling all documentationRecord project meetings, create meeting minutes and distributeUpdate project schedule completion status based on input from Project ManagersAssist with general office administration duties (supplies, equipment, postings, etc.)Assist the Project Managers with the production of and regular distribution of:Master Project BudgetMaster Project ScheduleUpdates to the Project Management PlanMeeting agendasMeeting NotesDrawingsProject records and reportsAction LogsClose-out document checklistMonthly and Weekly status reportsEnter changes to cost tracking to reflect approved changes from Project ManagerRecord contracts, purchase orders and changes to the Project Controls SoftwareEnter punch list items into project controls softwareOther duties as assigned Qualifications Strong knowledge of Program Management software programs (E-Builder, Oracle Primavera)Strong keyboarding skillsExcellent listening skills, patience, maturityFamiliarity with all Microsoft Office applications with excellent understanding of Outlook, Power Point, Word and ExcelHighly organizedCapable of shifting priorities and reacting to changing demandsUtility design and or construction project experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Expert level understanding of Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of construction terms, phases and key processesDesire to learn and grow

Reliable personal transportationRequired to drive to and from project locations at LAN Austin Office and Client office in Downtown AustinPass background checkMay occasionally require work outside normal business hours
