CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Technical Writer I. Type: Contract Job Title: Technical Writer I Location: Kennebunk, ME Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Kennebunk, ME Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F 8am – 4:30pm Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Description: As a Technical Writer I, you will play a key role in supporting the administration and maintenance of quality management system documentation and records required for Corning Life Sciences processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to generate, review, and maintain essential quality system documents, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and 21 CFR 820 standards. You will be responsible for initiating document changes, handling document distribution, and assisting in document control processes. Your work will support the quality assurance team and other departments in their efforts to improve processes and maintain high standards. Requirements: Required Qualifications: Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience: 2+ years of related experience required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience in working with document management systems (ETQ or similar preferred). Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and 21 CFR 820 Quality Management Systems. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work both autonomously and within a team setting.
