Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Document Processing Clerk in The Woodlands, Texas. This role is essential in our banking sector, where you will process various legal requests related to customer accounts, ensuring compliance with both Bank and legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Interpreting and reviewing legal orders to ensure the accurate understanding of the instructions provided
• Managing the department intake of legal requests and electronically tracking and managing received cases
• Processing, reviewing, and issuing branch approval for legal documentation related to customer accounts and banking transactions
• Preparing and filing bank responses to legal requests with courts, attorneys, and agencies, and notifying customers by mail of actions taken
• Providing exceptional customer service to various internal and external parties including customers, branches, agencies, and attorneys
• Conducting necessary research and processing account holds and releases, payments, invoices, and processing fees as appropriate
• Ensuring requests are processed timely to meet court dates and state regulations, documenting case progress and keeping electronic records of payments and additional documentation received
• Serving as a point of contact for courts, attorneys, state, and government agencies for legal requests related to customer accounts
• Performing other job-related duties or special projects as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document creation, editing, and management.
• Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for processing real estate transactions.
• Experience with case management software to efficiently handle and track multiple cases.
• Proficient in using Conveyancer software for streamlined real estate transactions.
• Knowledge of Cyberbahn for effective corporate search and registration.
• Demonstrated skills in briefing to effectively communicate case updates and information.
• Proven experience in claim administration to manage and resolve claims efficiently.
• Skilled in complaint handling, with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with court proceedings to support legal teams effectively.
• Ability to draft contracts with attention to detail and understanding of legal requirements.
