We are searching for a Document Processor to join the team! The Document Processor is responsible for sending, receiving, and distributing advanced care planning (“ACP”) documents on behalf of enrolled patients who are referred by independent primary care practices who partner with Aledade.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Send, receive, and distribute ACP documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesVerify the ACP documentation is aligned with the patients’ conversations, state requirements, and company policyEnsure paperwork is accurately completed, scanned, and distributed while working on document problems of moderate/high scope in the doc processNavigate all areas of ACP workflows to decipher where patients are in the ACP process and verify these workflows are accurately completedTroubleshoot issues with printer/scanner/postage meters/check mail dailyOther duties as assignedTotal Allocation of TimeRequired Skills and Abilities: Extreme attention to detail across all areas of doc processingAbility to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work as a team member, as well as independentlyKnowledge of HIPPA and appropriate storage of documentsRegular and predictable attendanceAbility to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasksAbility to learn new software programsRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma    1 yr. experience of relevant professional experience such as medical records, document scanning, or legal documentationPreferred Education and Experience:Associate degree2 yrs. experience of relevant professional experience such as medical records, document scanning, or legal documentationPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerOccasionally lifts, carries, or otherwise moves items weighing up to 35 poundsPosition is on-site in Austin, TexasWho We Are:Aledade, a public benefit corporation, exists to empower the most transformational part of our health care landscape - independent primary care.
