Document Production Team Leader
Salary: £35,267.80 per annum, plus company benefits
Location: Leeds LS10 1AB
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am until 6:00pm with 1 hours unpaid lunch break
Work model: Hybrid 3 days on site and 2 days at home after successful completion of training

Purpose of role
The Team Leader is responsible for leading their team whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy and output. The role is broad and covers all areas of document production including building and maintaining a productive workflow within tight time schedules, while implementing an atmosphere that fosters personal and professional growth.
The Team Leader will be tasked with advancing the level of service provided by the document production team and they should lead by example supporting and encouraging their direct reports. They will be responsible for the performance management of the team, acting as a ‘coach’ and assisting in the development of staff by helping employees find opportunities to improve their skillset and succeed in their job.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Account Manager in areas such as productivity, quality andcontinuous improvement Liaise with the Senior Operators over any issues or change in process Implement changes and improvements Induction of new starters and responsibility for Health and Safety Ensure policies and procedures are met in every instance Actively delegate and manage work to ensure best practice is maintained in all areas Effectively follow up all Client related concerns and queries Be a key deputy in the absence of the Account Manager
Meet and wherever possible exceed targets and expectations set, on an individual
and team basis Undertake any reasonable duties as requested by Account Manager Be responsible for the day to day running of the team Ensure that the workload and team is staffed correctly i.e. absence and holidays Conduct and manage onsite training needs Monitor staff attendance and timekeeping and respond to issues Management of absence process and procedures making sure cover is in place
in all areas Liaise regularly with the Senior Operators to give updates on workflow, deadlines and problems so that Client requirements can be effectively managed Conduct Team meetings and regular 1-2-1 sessions, ensuring effective communication Support the Account Manager with all Annual and Interim reviews Relate accurate information to users on progression of their work Ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively to complete the SLA's Investigate errors within the team and provide a full written report to the Account Manager Arrange fortnightly management information to be given timely to the Account Manager Comply with onsite Health and Safety procedures. Compile the monthly H&S report and escalate any variances or areas of concern to the Account Manager and H&S representative immediately Support colleagues and work as a team in order to achieve the best results for
the clients Able to represent and communicate issues on behalf of the Account Manager
Personal attributes
Previous experience of leading a team as a teamleader or workflow co-ordinatorDocument Production experienceExcellent knowledge of MS Office experience in handling edits, conversions, formatting, creation, comparisons, etc. for requesting client personnel. The position requires expertise in software applications used for document production.Speed and accuracy in a high-volume, document production environment.
