Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering Visualization & Documentation Specialist who will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a experience in graphic design, engineering, or technical communication, and experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks. This role involves using Dassault Systèmes' Composer and Visualize software to create instruction manuals and marketing materials from CAD models. The position is open to candidates with an associate's degree plus relevant experience or a bachelor's degree.
ResponsibilitiesCreate Marketing Renderings per established templatesCreate renderings for E-parts storeCreate renderings from established product modelsCreate product support bulletins for external customersMaintain organizational structure of documentationComplete renderings in appropriate timingMaintain a reasonable completion rate to manage backlog at an acceptable levelManage and present backlog and completion status in an easy-to-understand formatCommunicate with other departments to drive projects to completionPerform other duties, assignments and special projects as requiredEssential SkillsExperience with Graphic Design Tools/SoftwareStrong Communication & Writing SkillsUnderstanding of parts on a truck/hardware (e.g., Cab, Bolt, Flange)Additional Skills & QualificationsCSWA, CSWP, Sheetmetal and drawing tools certificationsAAS with at least 5 years of related experience or BSME with at least 2 years of experienceSolidWorks Composer certificationGood analytical and decision-making skillsAbility to work with other departments to create detailed documentsProven technical writing and organizational skillsWork Environment
The role primarily involves maintaining and updating existing technical documentation rather than creating new content from scratch. The position is preferred to be on-site, but remote work options are available if needed. Training on specific software and processes will be provided for the successful candidate. The work environment is collaborative, requiring communication with multiple departments to complete projects.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $78000.00
