In this role, you implement programs and actions aimed at the base of the food safety pyramid including material, process and product food safety specification development, GMPs (good manufacturing practices), hygiene and sanitation.
How you will contribute
You will work with key partners to ensure that food safety requirements are accurately translated into raw material, process and product specifications in a timely manner, provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders, and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team experts.

What you need to know about this position:
In Twin Falls, ID, the base salary range for this position is $73,900 - $86,233/yr. The exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program.

What extra ingredients you will bring:
Working knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, GMP’s, and quality systems in a food manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of Organic and FDA regulations is preferred.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Quality Foods requirements is a plus. Experience in writing standard operating procedures, work instructions, and forms for a Safe Quality Foods manufacturing environment.Experience in an organic manufacturing or food production environment a plus.•Experience with ERP data maintenance.
Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of experience in food safety or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.

Work schedule: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm
