For this position, you must be Skillbridge approved through your Command to participate in this 120-day internship. Upon completion of the DOD SkillBridge Internship, the intern will have gained a realistic preview of the role of a Recruiting Coordinator and L&D Coordinator through job shadowing, mentorship from senior leaders, and hands-on learning. Cvent is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the Recruiting and Learning & Development Experiences (LDX) teams. The Recruiting team is responsible for managing all applications, screening qualified candidates and overseeing all interviews for open positions, across the company. As the HR Coordinator, you will work closely with each recruiter, to assist in interview scheduling, coordinate with each candidate in preparation for the face-to-face interview and then be the in-office (or remote) host, while the candidates are in the office. The LDX team is responsible for driving the corporate learning strategy, delivering learning solutions aligned to business goals to all Cventers. As the HR Coordinator, you will also work closely a small team to support programs and initiatives related to new hire onboarding, leadership training, professional development, and beyond! This Program will be a 120-day internship, a total of four months or 16 weeks, during which the Intern will be trained on the core competencies and responsibilities of an HR Coordinator at Cvent. Upon successful completion of the program, Interns will be able to: Demonstrate an understanding of the core competencies of the HR department. Demonstrate an understanding of the core competencies of the Recruiting department, in regards to interview preparation, scheduling for final rounds of interviews and the day-of coordination of the interviews, to convey the best-in-class of a candidate interview experience. Demonstrate an understanding of the core responsibilities of an LDX Coordinator: learning program logistics, instructor-led training coordination, learning management system (LMS) administration, compliance training management, and team operations support. In This Role, You Will: Act as the first point of contact for candidates and the recruiting team regarding candidate interview scheduling Partner with Recruiters and Sourcers by driving coordination and managing interview processes administratively end-to-end Keep candidate experience top of mind; ensuring timely communication throughout the interview process Interview Set-Up & Management: Manage complex calendar operations and meeting coordination. Maintain strong action orientation and agility to handle changes, and urgent interview-related issues as needed by the internal team and candidates. Communicate professionally (tactfully and accurately), proactively and quickly with candidates, internal hiring partners and recruiters, finding a balance between speed and accuracy Support the planning and execution of existing corporate learning programs and initiatives, including communication, roster maintenance, and other administrative responsibilities. Provide administrative support for the Learning Management System (LMS), including attendance tracking, course distribution and maintenance, and troubleshooting Manage team inboxes, responding to general inquiries, and triaging requests from the business to appropriate team member(s) Support company-wide compliance training logistics, including enrollment, auditing, and reporting Partner and collaborate globally with other HR teams including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and Talent Management Manage and deliver regular reporting dashboards and ad-hoc reporting requests. Support the overall HR team with various ad hoc tasks Gain experience in Recruiting, Learning & Development, and the Software industry Here's What You Need: U.S. Military experience as an E4 or above (Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force) ; Military experience within a Human Resources focus preferred but not required Command approval to participate in this internship. High school diploma or state-recognized GED required; Associates (or higher) Degree is highly preferred but not required Mid-level skills in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, and other standard office applications Strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (spoken and written) Possess a passion for collaboration, an attention to detail, and a desire for growth High customer service, problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and ability to plan out tasks.
