 What is the Sales Development Program Internship? 

In the Sales Development Program Internship, you will play an integral part in supporting the sales and marketing team by selling Siemens’ products, solutions and services to construction, industrial, and business clients. This program is a direct feeder into the full-time Sales Development Program. 

We are looking for people who are inventive — true problem solvers who challenge themselves to find the most effective and efficient solutions to challenges. We provide a platform for those who want to have an impact on the future and contribute to the successes of the company, our customers and the world. 

Qualifications: 

U.S. Military experience as an E4 or above (Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard, Reserves) 

High school diploma or state-recognized GED required 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification 2+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Power Automation Switchboards  2+ years of experience using electrical test sets to perform AC and DC high potential testing, transformer turns ratio testing, transformer power factor testing, and other power system test practices and procedures Skilled at interpreting protective coordination studies and testing and configuring protective relays Capable of reading bills of material, electrical blueprints, and power system study reports Experience with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of low and medium voltage power distributions systems Familiar with the arc flash and shock hazards of 13.8 kV and Siemens switchgears and switchboards. Familiar with ANSI, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations 

 

 Preferred Qualifications:  

Associate Degree AVO, NETA, and NICET certifications
