DOL Pathway Home Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Department of Labor Pathway Home and monitors the daily management of the team of 4 focusing on broader goals and outcomes as required by the funder.

Essential Duties:

· Ultimate responsibility for the supervision of program faculty, 3 Employment Navigators and Job Developer. If necessary, substitute for, and adequately perform all duties of any other paid faculty (staff).

· Ensure compliance with DOL, administrative and fiscal regulations in accordance with the Contract Agreement provisions.

· Monitor operational costs meet budget guidelines.

· Communicate with senior leadership about program status, risk and achievements.

· Coordinate all administrative aspects of the project such as developing MOUs with all partners that outline responsibilities and protocols, as well as manage the day-to-day relationships with all partners.

· Collect and aggregate all data and provide all reporting.

· Mentor/Coach faculty to provide guidance, share expertise to achieve professional development/growth.

· Development of quality control procedures to ensure high quality services and quality improvement.

· Assist in resolving programmatic and personnel issues or concerns that arise.

· Monitor employment services activities of faculty such as intake, assessment, training, job search activities, workshops, etc.

· Participate in staff meetings to create a productive and cohesive team environment.

· Supervise preparation and submission of all required reports.

· Ensure program compliance with Amity policies and procedures, relevant to federal and state regulations and contract obligations.

· Responsible for the daily management and quality of care and services afforded to students is in keeping with contemporary therapeutic community methodologies and “best practice” standards.

· Oversees the capabilities of the project; ensure that accommodation will be made to meet individual and/or special needs of students.

· Attend and participate in Amity community building functions.

· Attend and participate in funder(s) meetings, training, events, functions etc. as it pertains to Employment Services.

Education and Experience:

Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related fields, and two-year experience working with a criminal justice population

· A High school diploma or equivalent AND 4 years’ experience in a supervisory position.

Certifications or Licenses:

Required:

· Within six weeks of hire, obtain First Aid and CPR certification AND pass a physical examination and tuberculosis test from a health professional.

· Must have a valid California driver's license and be eligible for Amity vehicle insurance.
