Compensation Range

About This Job
As a Domain Architect, you will assist with solution design for the assigned domain which falls within the Business, Information, Applications, or Technology Infrastructure Domains. You will support IT Service strategy, design, and planning for assigned IT Service families by producing required architecture content and consulting and participate in the Enterprise Architecture Program as a community member engaging in architecture consultations, architecture reviews, and reference architecture development and governance. We are looking for talented individual who can help design and integrate with an online banking application using leading edge technologies.
Essential Functions
Develop and maintain basic-level domain reference architecture
Participate in cross domain reference architecture development
Serve as the domain architecture consultant for development teams
Participate in architecture reviews
Manage architecture exceptions for domain
Conduct research based on current trends and technologies related to the banking industry data engineering and architecture data security and related topics
Work with developers to build basic pipelines, Self-service build tools, and automated deployment processes
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Basic understanding of domain architecture
Knowledgeable in data architecture and design
Knowledgeable in Azure Databricks engineering services Unity Catalog, Spark Jobs, Delta Live Tables
Knowledgeable in Designing and Architect solutions in Azure Data factory and Azure Databricks
Knowledgeable in Azure cloud technologies like PySpark, ADF, Databricks, Python, Scala and SQL
Knowledgeable of architectural thinking and design
Complex problem solving skills
Ability to understand and address application issues including integrations and connectivity
Develop and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and vendor representatives
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in: Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience required
3+ years of engineering experience in Domain (Business, Information, Applications, Technology Infrastructure) required
3+ years of experience in producing design documentation, patterns, standards, or specifications required

This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
