Role & DepartmentCanon EMEA is looking for a Domain Process Owner (DPO) Order to Cash (OTC) in the Finance department. In this role you will be the Finance Lead for the Order to Cash process, acting as the key liaison between National Sales Organizations (NSOs) and Regional Sales Headquarters (RSHQs), NSO Controllers and the Outsource Partner. The role is roughly a 50/50 split between developing process improvements and managing the Outsource Partner. You will work closely with the BPO Finance Controller, Customer Finance team, BU Controllers, NSO Finance Controllers, Business Operations, E2E, Procurement, ICT, Canon staff and Master Data Maintenance but also with external stakeholders such as Customers, IT Functional application team, Outsourced Provider, External Auditors.

As a Domain Process Owner Order to Cash you will be responsible for:
Key contact between the Outsource Partner and the Canon NSOs supporting all business units and legal entities for outsourced OTC activities. Implement world class processes and controls to provide accurate and timely results and information;Ensuring processing accords to J-US GAAP and company policy, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the transactions. Managing the process in line with VAT & tax requirements. Meeting month-end close deadlines;Monitoring and manage the service levels of the OTC with the Outsourced Partner. Deliver change management between Canon and the Outsourced Partner as required. Supporting negotiations with the Outsourced Partners in regard to projects and new services. Managing the outsourced key staff recruitment and retirement process;Implementing and manage the Policy & Authorization Matrix, approving user access to European OTC systems and reporting platforms. Implementing Segregation Of Duties (SOD) policy in NSOs and the Outsource Partner to prevent fraud, sabotage, theft, misuse of information, and other security compromises. Reviewing and resolving monthly SOD conflicts across the financial platforms;Identifying opportunities in the OTC IT systems and business processes that are ripe for automation. Driving the change and activity needed to achieve it;Managing archiving strategy and document retention;For assigned processes, implementing internal controls to ensure J-SOX compliance. Evaluating controls and manage the ineffective controls to resolution, including the Outsource partners SOC1 report evaluation. What we ask
