Aspirus Corporate Office in Wausau, WI is seeking a DONOR ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST to join our team!
The Donor Engagement and Development Specialist plays a key role in advancing the mission of the Aspirus Health Foundation by leading special event fundraising efforts and developing and executing donor stewardship strategies that will cultivate meaningful relationships with donors and prospects, build long-term donor loyalty and increase philanthropic support. This includes organizing committee members, soliciting support, creating and implementing event management plans, executing events within established budgets, and achieving fundraising goals. The Donor Engagement and Development Specialist works as a member of the Aspirus Health Foundation team and assists in all aspects of the fundraising program to help the Foundation achieve its fundraising and visibility goals.
HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks
Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.A minimum three years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations and/or event-planningPrior management experience desired.
Knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with donor software systems like Raiser’s or DonorPerfect preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
Skilled in providing excellent customer service.
Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to meeting goals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.
