Title: Donor Relations Coordinator

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of Development at the Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center Foundation (LHDCMCF), the Donor Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Giving team in advancing philanthropy, helping to maintain positive donor relations with Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center, assisting with moves management, stewardship and sponsorship facilitation. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center’s mission for everyone in our community to live healthier together. The role seeks an individual with strong interpersonal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
Responsibilities:
·Supports Giving Officers in their donor meetings, preparing materials and follow up activities
·Creates initial drafts of funding proposals to potential donors
·Assists with the execution of the Grateful Patient program and all donor solicitations, including direct mail and email campaigns
·Manages giving societies in conjunction with the Director of Major Giving
·Imports donor meeting notes into database for Foundation Vice President and Giving Team as needed
·Maintain donor data record integrity by tracking all donor relations activities and documents
·Conduct donor and prospect research
·Collaborates with internal colleagues to develop strategies for engaging donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners
·Generates reports, spreadsheets and personalized donor communications
·Serves as a back-up contact for event registrations and RSVPs
·Coordinates the Foundation's involvement and activities with small community groups and others organizing fundraisers to benefit Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center.
·Works closely with Director of Major Giving to support giving society events
·Supports gift processing by scanning checks and completing relevant forms
·Works closely with other LHDCMCF staff, as needed, to execute cultivation and stewardship events.
Requirements:
·BA/BS degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
·Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy, and experience working with volunteers is essential.
·High attention to detail and organization.
·Ability to work as part of a high-performing team as well as independently
·Flexibility and proven ability to work successfully in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
·Self-motivated strategic thinker with a proven record working independently and achieving results.
·Proficiency with Word, Excel and databases; experience with Salesforce preferred.
·Familiarity with philanthropic industry and sources of philanthropy.
·Passion for LHDCMCF’s mission of enhancing our community’s health.
·Familiarity with the market served by LHDCMCF.
