Job Responsibilities:
Door and Closures Summer Intern to help support the Jupiter program. The Door and Closure Engineer should be determined and passionate about developing the next level industry standard for vehicle architectures and production solutions. In the closures discipline, the Engineer is supporting the engineering activities relating to the design and development of the vehicle Door and closures system. This position has a high level of responsibility and visibility and will interface with OEMs, Magna divisions, global module group teams and Tier 2 suppliers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead benchmarking studies and contribute to the benchmark knowledgebase.Propose and lead advanced development topics supporting the Jupiter program.Support complex problem solving with cross functional teams.Support the release of Computer Aided Design (CAD) data into internal and external sites.Support the release of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), simulations and studies into internal or external sites.Support designs meeting the project performance and cost targets.Support for designs meeting market region regulations, FMVSS, ECE, CNCA/GB, etc.Qualifications:
Some related experience preferred.Education / Experience
High School DiplomaCurrently Attending a college or UniversitySpecial Knowledge / Skills:
