Job Description

Join our team as a Door Shop-Production Worker where you will be responsible for handling and finishing doors in our busy door shop. You will be involved in various stages of door production, including lifting and staging doors, operating forklifts, and using hand and power tools. This position offers room for growth and the opportunity to advance within the company.

ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and resolve work problemsWork with a team to create and build productsPalletize and prepare finished orders for shipmentMaintain a safe and clean work environmentEnact company policies and abide by safety regulationsOperate forklifts to move staged doorsLift and move 100-130 doors per day, weighing 60-80 poundsUse pneumatic staplers, power drills, and other tools as neededRead and understand orders as receivedAssemble pre-fabricated doors to meet work order specificationsReview finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality of constructionUse power tools such as mills, saws, and joinersUse pneumatic tools such as nail gunsEssential SkillsHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift/move/manipulate up to 100 poundsAbility to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulationsAbility to perform all job functions safelyExcellent attention to detailAbility to read a tape measure accurately and consistently to 1/16”Ability to read and interpret verbal instructions, diagrams, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsStrong problem-solving skills1 year of experience with hand and power tools (Preferred)

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
