Job Summary Assists hotel or resort guests with the entrance to a hotel or room within the hotel. Starting rate is $ $16.40 per hour. After 90 days rate goes up to $20.50 per hour. Responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS: + While no formal education is required a high school diploma is often preferred. + Consciously remain well-groomed with the correct hotel uniform and ID badge all the time during work shift + Ability to give tourists local information about tourist spots and theaters + Must always be courteous customer-oriented with a cheerful disposition + Excellent manners and courtesy + Must have excellent verbal communication skills in English RESPONSIBILITIES: + Greets guests upon arrival and directs guests for check-in. + Providing information about the town or city if requested + Be trained in polite manners and efficient customer service + Assist physically challenged guests or those with special needs. + Provide guests with travel directions and other information of interest to hotel quests.
