Minimum Qualifications:

A four-year degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience can substitute on a year for year basis.

 

Experience working with outside vendors, obtaining quotes, procuring services and products.

 

Preferences:

Experience using Microsoft Excel

Experience State of Florida Procurement processes

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will work with the Division of Administration and with Information Technology Support Services to provide purchasing support to managers in the Bureau of Information Technology by identifying optimal procurement methods and developing procurement strategies related to technology purchases as well as conducting research and analyzing data in support of procurement strategy development.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Handle special assignments in support of specific events or meetings related to information technology procurement.

Assists with the purchasing process through obtaining vendor quotes and other purchasing documents in preparation for execution of agreements and Purchase Orders. Conducts research as requested on pricing trends for information technology services and products.

Assists in reviews of agency budget requests, LBRs related to information technology. Attends agency meetings as necessary to maintain proficiency with the Department and Information Technology related issues.

Performs other work-related duties as required.
