DOT Driver - Bulk (Class 1 - Full Time) - Edmonton, AB

Major responsibilities (Duties may include but are not limited to):

Safely transporting equipment and product to customer sites.Monitor and inspect equipment before, during and after operations, within standard operating procedures, to ensureadequate operation and to meet requirements.Accurate completion of job logs, customer delivery tickets and complete tripreports.The nature of the position may require the Driver to be away from home for extended periods of time operatingunder limited or no supervision.The LSCI division provides services twenty four hours a day, seven days per week. Drivers are “on call” day andnight. When on call you must be available and should be able to report to work within two hours.Meet all LSCI/Linde Policies concerning: Training, Accidents, Reporting, Emergency Response, Accident Investigation,and Hazardous Material Transportation.Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, daily shift duration between 8-15 hours.Services and products are delivered usually outside, day and night, in all weather conditionsWorking a 4 days on 4 days off schedule with flexibility if necessary

Qualifications, Education and Professional experience:

Maintain a Commercial Drivers License Class 1 with airbrake endorsement.Having a strong mechanical aptitude is an asset.Have the ability to do heavy lifting and climbing (50 lbs. and ladders).Have a strong commitment toward safety. Remain attentive in Hazard Recognition.Commit to cost containment: procurement, overtime, transport delay, selection of lodging, and follow LSCI/Linde TravelGuidelines.Experience handling cryogenics would be an assetBasic computer skills required.
