This position is responsible for the company vehicle safety program. Experience in accountability (formulating or using specific measures), knowledge of systems for measuring performance such as GPS or camera systems is required. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work independently once given a vision and some oversight, be detail oriented and self-motivated. Program and /or policy development, direct commercial driving or commercial vehicle enforcement is strongly desired.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop reporting to audit which includes but not limited to: reconciliation of monthly reports, citations, violations, incidents, and claims. Manages overall DOT compliance of the company (Federal, State, and local levels). Track technology-based solutions such as GPS alerts and recorded information to assist in investigations and accountability. Identify trends and provide recommendation for action to management based on analysis. Conducts training and audits in the areas of safety, DOT, and compliance. Coordinate driver training, instruction, Smith System and Roads and Skills Test. Manage various projects as requested and provide training as needed. Manage and drive the company’s fleet safety program. Responsible for identifying trends and making recommendations based on CSA, DQ compliance, and AFR. Understand and Leverage technology to drive fleet safety programs. Facilitate training at branches as necessary. Publish reports and ensure accountability for driver compliance. Other duties as assigned in support of the operation.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is required. Minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or training is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Holds/Held a Class A CDL Driver’s License. Minimum of 5 years as a Fleet Safety professional. Certified Director of Safety (CDS) North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI) preferred.What we offer:
