About this RoleBrink Constructors, Inc.
JOB SUMMARY:The DOT Safety Administrator will support the Safety team on project tasks as assigned, develop and maintain employee training tracking system, assist in day to day clerical duties, while working within multiple databases. This position is the main contact point for all safety related tracking, reporting, and assisting with scheduling. Duties will require communication between multiple deparments with an ability to work effectively in cross-functional setting.
PAY: This is non-exempt/hourly position. The pay range is $25/hr to $30/hr.
LOCATION: This position will be located out of our Rapid City, SD office.
What You'll Do Assist with review, tracking, and scheduling of employee trainingMaintain and be the system expert on the web based safety systemMaintain third-party procurement websites such as Avetta, ISNetworld, Veriforce, etc.Responsible for putting metrics together based on information gathered from safety systemsResponsible for identifying trends together based on gathered information.Responsible for putting together key performance indicators, graphs, spreadsheets, etc. and presenting information to the senior leadership team.Required to work directly with management and job leads to put together job specific information based on entries and information gathered through variousResponsible for pulling work hours and separating based on location, jobs, timeframes etc. Information will then be sent out to applicable partiesRequired to produce a monthly safety report which would include incident history, TRIR, DARTAssist in the day to day clerical duties which include but are not limited to, filing paperwork, scheduling meetings, fielding phone calls, writing reports, developing procedures etc.Assist the DOT Compliance Manager in the DOT compliance programWork in various other databases such as SDS online, Clothing programs etc. What You'll BringRequired:
Bachelor's Degree or a combination of experience and additional training which supports the positionExperience working with safety systems and databasesStrong skills in Microsoft Office suite requiredExcellent oral and written communication skillsTeam facilitation skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional settings.Strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints and manage shifting priorities.Ability to work independentlyValid, Active Driver's LicensePreferred:
Knowledgeable on safety terminology, rate indicators and how to calculate them. Indicators may include but are not limited to TRIR, DART, LTI, LTIR etcKnowledge of Federal, State and Provincial occupational safety regulations including OSHA, FAA, MSHA, EPA and health standards such as ANSI, NFPA, NEC and other non-regulatory safety codes and standards required.Complete all other tasks and activities within the realm of the HSE program.Pre-screen: Upon offer, employees will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check
