421 North 10th Street, Winterset, IA 50273, USA | Full Time AGRILAND FS is looking for a DOT Safety Specialist. This individual is responsible for delivering driver training in compliance with federal, state and company regulations as well as establishing/ promoting safety policies and procedures. Core Responsibilities + Conducts driver facing training and testing in classroom, one on one and hands on settings + Conducts location team training at each location + Maintains accurate records of attendance, class completions, evaluations and coaching systems in the appropriate systems + Performs safety related functions including but not limited to, accident reviews and skills and behavior assessments + Coaches and counsels team membersin collaboration with Safety and Regulatory Manager, Director of Operations, Operations Managers and Location Managers for violations of DOT regulations, safety standards and company policies + Conducts on-road tests and other evaluations with team members to determine if meeting safety, DOT, FMCSR and company regulations and policies + Models safe behaviors and professional interactions + Manages accident prevention, injury prevention and terminal compliance + Emphasizes safety concepts, principles and procedures REQUIREMENTS + Ability to train, coach and evaluate knowledge and skills + Ability to implement new driver facing programs + Ability to learn and use technology as needed + Ability to obatin CCE program certifcation + Strong presentation and classroom instruction and facilitation skills + Deep understanding of DOT regulations + Requires a Class A CDL with Hazmat, tanker, air brakes, doubles and triples endorsements + Must have a minimum of two years of driving experience while holding all licenses and endorsements + Ability to travel and stay out overnight for multiple nights + Must be able to lift 50 - 75 pounds, must be able to climb, pull, reach and walk over simple obstacles What we offer our team: + Casual office environment + Onsite team with a collaborative work style + Resources to learn and further develop your skills in marketing, business, and leadership + Opportunity for career development and responsibility growth at a stable and growing company + Solid retirement future with a 100% company-funded Pension Program at no cost to you, plus an additional 401k with company match + Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more Are you a good match to join the AGRILAND FS Team in Winterset?
