ENERCON serves several markets throughout the energy sector, including data centers, mission critical facilities, the federal government, industrial, nuclear power, power delivery, grid infrastructure, power generation, and renewable energy.

Due to continued growth, our Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Drafter for our client site in Surry, VA.

Responsibilities

Create and/or modify detailed engineering drawings using MicroStation. (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus)

Work directly with Engineering to interpret drawing markups for development or revision of the productUtilize and correctly apply ENERCON and client CAD standardsSelf-check created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect final productModify and revise drawings as necessary to correct deficienciesFollow all organizational and area/departmental procedures, client procedures, safety policies and directivesWork under the supervision of engineers or more experienced designersAssist in performing a variety of routine assignments using prescribed methods and standard techniquesApply basic formulas, principles and practices, and use acquired knowledge of fundamental drafting/design concepts and practices  Qualifications High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience or 5 years applicable experience in draftingProficiency with MicroStationKnowledge of Bentley ProjectWise is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with others (Engineers, Designers, Project Managers) in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve design and drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectivesStrong organizational skills and attention to detail  Additional Information
