**SUMMARY** Designs and prepares technical drawings and plans. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Liaises with architects and engineers and uses software to convert their designs into technical drawings. + Supports Engineers, Technologists, Architects, and other professionals by producing designs and drawings based on exact specifications. + Generates technical designs. + Researches data for drafts. + Creates 3D designs. + Maintains regular and punctual attendance. + Performs other duties as assigned. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** None. **Job Requirements:** **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Four (4) years of related experience required. + Associates degree required. + Experience preparing technical drawings and plans. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. + Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks (U.S. Citizenship required). **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS** + Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in technical design work. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and apply complex data effectively. + Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. **WORK SCHEDULE** Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project. **TRAVEL** The expected travel time is less than 10%. **DRIVING REQUIREMENTS** None. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting, including the normal office equipment (e.g., computer, fax machines, copier) and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** Position consists of seeing up close, sitting for long periods of time, and occasionally standing or walking. Frequent use of hands/fingers for manipulation of computer keyboard and mouse.
